Bow Valley Trail 906 Unit 2B - Mountain Loft

Great place to stay and very good hosts

We stayed at the Mountain Loft for 4 nights. Finding it was easy with good instructions provided by the hosts. The Loft was super clean and the kitchen well stocked with complimentary tea and coffee. Emma and Joshua were helpful hosts and answered our questions promptly. The only concern was the location which was close to the train tracks which, if you are a light sleeper, will result in sleepless nights. The window in the bedroom had to be kept closed at all times as the noise was quite loud. Ear plugs were thoughtfully offered in an attempt to remedy the situation however knowing the proximity to the tracks beforehand would have been appreciated. All in all, the Mountain Loft was a decent place to stay as it was close to trails and downtown and we could easily walk everywhere from this location.

Emma and Joshua were great hosts. Communication was excellent, the check-in/check-out process was straightforward, and they were very responsive throughout our stay. The only thing to note is the unit faces the train tracks, so we were woken up by trains a few times the first night. We got used to the train noise fairly quickly, so this wasn't a major issue for us, but wanted to mention it so future guests know what to expect. There are quite a few hotels along the tracks, so this is likely pretty common. Overall, it was a great stay and other than the train tracks, it is in a great location!
