We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this place. The condo was exactly as described, very clean, comfortable, and exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed for our trip. Emma & Joshua were wonderful hosts. Communication was excellent throughout, and they were very thorough in providing information and recommendations. The location was excellent for exploring Banff, Canmore, and the surrounding area, would definitely recommend staying here.
Overall, this was a nice place in a great location, about 25 minutes to downtown Banff and 10 minutes to Canmore. The patio, grill, and nearby trails were all great, and most of the unit was clean and well maintained. The main disappointment was how the AC issue was handled. About two weeks before our trip, the host said the AC was broken and awaiting repair, but did not offer a discount or solution upfront. Since AC was a key amenity for us, I had to go back and forth to request an accommodation. The host ultimately said they would provide portable air conditioners, which I accepted. However, when we arrived, there was only one portable unit. It helped the living room, but the bedrooms stayed warm and clammy, and I slept on the couch two nights. There were also a few missed basics, like a bathroom-sized kitchen trash can, no larger bags, and a coffee maker that needed better cleaning. Nice place overall, but the AC situation and follow-through were a little disappointing.
